1st grade Title I reading actives

October Reading project that the entire 4th grade completed. Students chose an AR book of their choice that they have read independently this year. They then followed the steps in the writing process to create a written report on their book, with emphasis on the main character, setting, and a summary. For an at-home portion for this project, they created their main character out of a pumpkin. They have been on display, in the main lobby area, for all to enjoy this week. 🎃🎃

Mrs. Katie Taylor is giving a vape presentation to our student body. This is part of our Red Ribbon Week (say no to drugs). Thank you Mrs. Taylor.

🎃Mrs. Cowburn, Mrs. Lyons, and Mrs. Kosa’s kindergarten classrooms enjoyed pumpkin day and some of our 4th graders came to help with the rotations. Our students learned about measurement, practiced counting, compared the weight of their pumpkin to themselves, and predicted if the pumpkin would sink or float. They also enjoyed listening to a Halloween story.

Fun in PreK with Mrs. Gross and Mrs. Marzo!

Our Spanish trip is looking to raise funds to go to Spain! Here's a fundraising opportunity to help those students.

Today, some of our juniors are at the senior center helping serve lunch, aid in activities, and socialize with seniors from our community. It is so important to step out of the four walls of school sometimes to make a difference and get involved! Go Falcons!

Mrs.Rohrer is meeting with our students to review health and safety issues in school.

A huge thank you to our custodial staff for all of their hard work prepping the playground. It would not have come together without them!
